WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. We believe that man has a fallen nature and has a need that only God can fill.  Genesis 1:26-26, 2:17, 3:6; Romans 5:12-19

 

2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God and that through Him and Him alone salvation comes to man.  John 3:16-17; Isaiah 53:3

 

3. We believe the Bible is the Truth and is God’s inspired and infallible Word.  2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

 

4. We believe that there is One God in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Isaiah 43:10; Deuteronomy 4:6; Matthew 28:29

 

5. We believe and practice Baptism for the believer: 

First water baptism: Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47; Mark 16:16

Second baptism of the Holy Spirit: Luke 24:29; Acts 1:4,8, 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10, 28

 

6. We believe The Church is alive and should strive to live in purity, with passion, and with purpose. 1 Peter 1:16; Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 12:5, 14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; John 4:23; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:11,12

 

7. We believe in a future and the hope that is Heaven for all of those who believe and receive Christ!  There is indeed more! John 14:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 2 Peter 3:13
